Sign up for the Monad Testnet
The road to getting Monad crypto airdrops branches out into many directions – but let’s start with the highway first, so to speak. As I mentioned earlier, the Monad network is currently in the testnet phase, which is something like a hybrid of a beta version equivalent for an upcoming blockchain, and the team is promising various rewards for early birds helping to get it off the ground.
Latest Deal Active Right Now:Head to BitDegree Missions, gather as many Bits as possible & claim your stake of the $30,000 Prize Pool! Don't waste your time & start collecting Bits by completing Missions and referring friends.
Monad’s testnet platform is marketed at two distinct demographics: users and developers. In this guide, I’ll focus on the former and show you how to join Monad airdrop as a regular crypto and NFT enthusiast, with no coding skills required.
Add Monad Testnet to Your Crypto Wallet
First things first: to get started with the Monad crypto airdrop on the chain’s testnet, you’ll have to add it to your crypto wallet before connecting your wallet to the testnet website. There’s just one little problem: a blockchain being in the testnet phase by definition means that it’s not officially available on most wallets yet.
Which leaves you with two options: finding a wallet that offers native Monad Testnet support or adding it manually. As of writing this, only a few of the popular crypto wallets, such as OKX Wallet, support the Monad Testnet, so let me show you how to add it as a custom network instead:
I’ll be using the MetaMask wallet in this tutorial, but the instructions will be more or less applicable to any other EVM-compatible third-party wallet with a similar UI.
All done! Your crypto wallet will now be able to receive MON tokens and connect to the testnet – which is exactly what I’m going to cover in the following sections.

Request Free MON Tokens
Now that you’re on board, you’ll need some MON tokens if you want to participate in the testnet. Since this token isn’t officially listed yet, you can only get it through the testnet itself and use it as a demo token to engage with the Monad ecosystem.
Here’s how to do it:
The amount of MON you’ll receive will be small and randomized, depending on the network usage at the time. If it’s not sufficient for transaction simulation or other activities on the testnet, you can request more, but keep in mind that you’re only allowed 1 request every 12 hours.
Use dApps on the Monad Testnet
Even in this early phase, Monad already has a thriving testnet ecosystem featuring over 200 dApps in every category you can think of: DEX, lending platforms, play-to-earn crypto games, betting platforms, payment gateways, and more!
You can find the top trending dApps on the testnet website and do some trading in just a few clicks without leaving the platform. Let me show you how:
That’s it!

Fantasy Top Monad Airdrop Guide
It’s official – you’re finally ready to engage with the Monad ecosystem on its testnet mode! Even though the team hasn’t officially announced an airdrop yet, everything so far points to a potential airdrop season sometime soon – including the fact that the initiative I’ll tell you about in this section already has its own leaderboard! Without further ado, then, let’s get on with the actual Monad airdrop guide part of this article.
What is Fantasy Top?
Fantasy Stop is Monad’s current flagship initiative, built on the Blast network and Monad testnet. It’s a strategic card game where users can compete in weekly tournaments to win special whitelist cards themed around crypto influencers (KOLs).
Those cards can then be used to mint testnet NFTs, which will in turn give you access to minting their respective mainnet NFTs once the mainnet opens. You can join thousands of whitelists, create your own card decks, and even bet on your favorite X influencers and their cards!
With over 120,000 players and a total pool of $6 million worth of rewards, Fantasy Top is already one of the most ambitious GameFi projects blending NFTs, strategy, and play-to-earn tactics. If you want to learn how to farm Monad airdrop with virtually no limits and don’t mind investing some time and brainpower, this is the way to go!

Crypto Token VS Coin (Animated Explainer & Examples)

Rules and Eligibility Requirements
If you’ve never played this type of card tournament game before, this might all seem pretty confusing to begin with, but bear with me here! Once we’re through, you’ll be shuffling your digital deck and racking up points in no time.
Here are the main elements of the Fantasy Top game:
- Hero Cards;
- Fragments;
- Whitelists;
- Tickets;
- Tournaments;
- Daily Prize Quests.
Let’s start with the basics first. The cards in this game are called Hero Cards, since they’re based on famous crypto influencers. Each card is an NFT, meaning it’s a unique collectible that grants you full ownership.
Hero Cards have 3 main attributes: Star Rank, Score, and Rarity. The Star Rank system ranges from 1 to 8 and shows the card’s performance in tournaments. It gets updated every Thursday. Meanwhile, Score is directly tied to the card’s patron influencer’s engagement on X.
These stars themselves do not impact gameplay, but can serve as an indicator when purchasing cards. For example, you could buy a 2-star card in the hopes that it will upgrade to a 3- or 4-star one.
The Hero Cards come in different Rarities, each with a different score multiplier:
- Common (1x);
- Rare (1.5x);
- Epic (2x);
- Legendary (2.5x).
You can also level up 5 identical cards by playing and increasing their score to mint a new one with a higher rarity. In 99% of cases, you can only increase their rank by one level, but if you’re lucky with your algorithmic dice, there’s a 1% chance to upgrade straight from Common to Epic, or from Rare to Legendary, for example.
The whole point of Hero Cards is, of course, to use them to compete in Tournaments. For that, you need at least 5 cards. There are three ways of getting them:
- Buying individual cards on the Marketplace by purchasing them instantly or placing bids on them;
- Burning Fragments (the smallest in-game currency units): 1 card costs 50 Fragments, and you can also burn cards to get your Fragments back;
- Buying card packs with Fragments (each contains 5 random cards).
Once you get your Hero Cards and create a deck of 5 (keep in mind that there’s a total star limit, so choose wisely), you can finally enter Tournaments. To keep things fair, they’re split into 5 leagues based on the type of Hero Cards players are allowed to compete with:
- Bronze. Only Common cards allowed (max 18 stars per deck);
- Silver. Up to 3 Rare cards allowed (max 22 stars);
- Gold. Up to 4 Rare and 2 Epic cards allowed (max 26 stars);
- Elite. No restrictions (any cards, unlimited stars);
- Reverse. Opposite goal: score as low as possible with 5 Heroes (min 18 stars).
There are multiple Tournaments running simultaneously, but each one runs for 4 days from Monday to Thursday. By competing, you can win prizes like tickets for the Whitelist Roulette, Fragments to unlock new card packs, MON tokens, or XP points.
Whitelist spots are split into multiple collections. The collection you receive a WL for is randomly assigned, but the better you perform, the more spots you secure, boosting your chances of landing a spot in your favorite collection! Each collection has its own snapshot date, on which the wallets holding an allocation will be saved and transferred to Top Fantasy’s major partner, Magid Eden, where you’ll be able to mint your NFTs as a reward.
Last but not least, there’s one more neat incentive to motivate you to log in on a daily basis: the Daily Prize wheel! All you need to do is go to the platform, click the Claim button, and complete the quests of the day (it will be easy tasks like sharing posts on X or something of the sort).
How to Get Started With Fantasy Top
Here’s how to get Monad airdrop through the Fantasy Top tournament:
As of writing this, the MON faucet is paused due to high botting activity, but the team promises to let new accounts claim their welcome pack as soon as this issue gets resolved, so be patient!
That’s all the help I can give – the rest is in your hands (or in the hands of fortune, as it were).
Best Potential Monad Airdrops
Most Monad airdrop guides emphasize that this network is chock-full of brand-new dApps just brimming with airdrop potential – and they’re absolutely right! Learning how to farm Monad airdrops can be as simple as scouting for upcoming new tokens and getting in early to reap your rewards.
The good news is, I’ve already done the legwork here, so you won’t have to! Here are my top recommendations for the most promising crypto airdrops in the Monad ecosystem.
aPriori
aPriori is the leading MEV-powered liquid staking platform on Monad. It allows staking any amount of MON in exchange for aprMON tokens as a reward and lets users retain complete custody over their funds. As of writing this, it has already raised over $10 million, with the total locked value of over 2 million MON.
Here’s how to take part:
- Visit the official aPriori website and connect your wallet;
- Go to [Stake] and stake some MON for aprMON;
- Go to [Withdrawals] and swap it back (takes 10 minutes);
- Repeat every few days.
You can use the testnet faucet to get some tokens for free, but it doesn’t always work.
Magma
Another community-powered liquid staking protocol in the Monad ecosystem, Magma offers staking pools where users can stake their Monad tokens in exchange for liquid staked Monad (gMON). The platform is powered by the first high-throughput distributed validator and a low-latency MEV client.
Monad validators participate in the Magma auction, where they auction off blockspace and generate MEV rewards, which are then shared with stakers, boosting their APY. Magma community members participate in decision-making and align with the long-term direction of the protocol within the Monad ecosystem.
Follow these steps to claim a potential airdrop:
- Visit the Magma website and connect your wallet;
- Go to [Stake] and stake some MON for gMON;
- Go to [Unstake] and "swap" it back;
- Repeat every few days.
There’s already a point system, although the rewards aren’t specified yet.
Ambient
Ambient, formerly known as CrocSwap, is a Monad-based DEX that has already raised $6.5 million in funding. This platform runs the entire DEX inside a single smart contract, allowing for low-fee transactions, greater liquidity rewards, and a fairer trading experience.
A potential Ambient airdrop had been speculated for a long time. The presence of a leaderboard is a pretty strong indicator, so keep this one in your field of vision! Here’s how to use Ambient and earn points:
- Go to the Ambient website and connect your wallet;
- Go to [Swap] or [Trade] and swap some of your Monad testnet tokens;
- You can also stake the tokens in the liquidity pool for an additional interaction.
As of writing this, Ambient has a TVL of $9.6 million.
BIMA
BIMA is a DeFi platform that lets you earn yield on your BTC across multiple chains by using USBD, a Bitcoin-backed stablecoin, and Liquid Staked Tokens (LST). The platform offers in-depth analytics for your USBD, tracking collateralization and vault activity and delivering real-time insights. BIMA's code has been thoroughly audited by top industry experts to ensure maximum security.
Get started on BIMA with these simple instructions:
- Visit the BIMA website and connect your wallet;
- Get the LST (bmBTC);
- Go to [Vaults], deposit bmBTC as collateral, and mint USBD;
- Go to [Lend] and lend USBD.
BIMA already offers additional quests and a leaderboard, so the release of the official governance token seems pretty likely!
Curvance
This Monad-based project is a multichain liquidity protocol that maximizes capital efficiency in DeFi. You can earn yield by supplying assets, or borrow against collateral. Curvance lets users maximize their passive income with auto-compounding vaults and optimized DeFi strategies. What’s more, it offers a reliable and decentralized escrow system.
Curvance has a task-based system for earning points towards an airdrop. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Connect your wallet to Curvance on the official website;
- Go to [Notification] in the top right corner and complete all the tasks there;
- Play the Play Pump4Gains game on Curvance: top up your wallet with MON and click [Pump].
Curvance raised $3.6 million last year and has over 251,000 members across its social media networks.
Kuru
Kuru is a fully on-chain order book exchange built on Monad. Instead of running solely on Automated Market Makers (AMM) like most other DEXs, Kuru runs on a central limit order book while still offering an AMM as a backup option. This hybrid model removes most of the trade-offs associated with the traditional AMM infrastructure, such as high slippage.
Kuru has raised $2 million and is exclusively on Monad, and now you can start farming it right away before Monad hits the mainnet! Follow these steps:
- Go to the Kuru Exchange and connect your wallet;
- Deposit test MON to your Kuru wallet;
- Complete a few trades.
There’s also a bonus system where you can create your personal Kuru monster avatar and unlock new traits every few hours.
Kintsu
Kintsu’s upcoming liquid staking token (LST) solution, sMON, lets users stake their MON tokens and earn rewards while simultaneously utilizing them in other dApps. Unlike traditional staking, which locks your tokens up, liquid staking with Kintsu allows you to earn rewards while keeping your assets liquid, which benefits the entire Monad ecosystem, as well.
Here’s how to get your Monad airdrop farming streak going on Kintsu:
- Connect your wallet to Kintsu;
- Stake your MON tokens to get sMON in return;
- Go to [Unstake] and swap your tokens back.
As with most other platforms of this type, you can repeat these actions as many times as you want, though at some point, we should probably expect to see updated guidelines stating that certain types of “low-level” or back-and-forth transactions don’t count towards earning points for the airdrop.
Hedgemony
This platform offers a full suite of functionality for on-chain trading, hedging, and portfolio automation. It boasts an intent-centric execution infrastructure, multilayered aggregation, and in-depth predictive analytics. Users can choose from a wide variety of customized trading strategies and manage their portfolios with just a few clicks.
Let me show you how to get started with Hedgemony:
- Visit the Hedgemony Testnet website and connect your wallet;
- Click [Swap] on the right-side sidebar;
- In the Basic Swap panel, click [Select a Quick Swap];
- Choose the tokens you want to swap to/from, enter the amount, and click [Swap].
You can also click on a route to automatically populate the token fields in the swap form.
Multisynq
Multisynq is a decentralized, hyper-local DePIN synchronization protocol on Monad. Its low-latency architecture offers a lot of benefits for industries like sports betting and multiplayer games. Multisynq ensures robust security and privacy through end-to-end encryption and access controls, leveraging blockchain's decentralized architecture for enhanced resilience and transparency.
At this point, Multisynq only allows users to sign up and refer friends to collect points, so here’s how to do it:
- Go to the Multisynq website and click [signup] in the top right corner;
- Enter your email address and password, check the Terms and Conditions box, and click [Sign Up];
- Click the [Referrals] tab and copy the referral link.
Multisynq has already raised over $2 million in funding.
Top Alternatives for Monad Airdrops
The above-listed Monad platforms should probably be enough to see you through your next airdrop hunting spree. Having said that, there’s nothing wrong with seeking a more efficient approach. This part of my Monad airdrop guide will reveal the best alternatives for crypto enthusiasts who'd rather consolidate their airdrop needs into one or a few larger platforms.
BitDegree Airdrop Season 7
If you want to understand crypto airdrops better, it's a good idea to learn more about how blockchain technology works in general. But who says learning can’t be fun? Meet BitDegree, a gamified Web3 education platform where users can complete free Missions on just about any crypto and Web3-related topic you can think of and earn crypto rewards in return.
Already having centered user satisfaction and rewards system as its topmost priority, BitDegree has recently upped the ante with its ambitious Airdrop Season 7, featuring a $30,000 prize pool alongside additional $1,000 micro prizes from BitDegree’s major partners, such as Uphold.
Here are the main criteria and guidelines for completing BitDegree Web3 Missions and qualifying for the airdrop:
- Missions consist of several bite-sized Rounds. Each gives you between 200 and 400 Bits (in-game points), and many Missions have a bonus for getting to the finish line;
- The amount of Bits you accrue determines your share of the airdrop prize pool;
- You have to collect at least 10,000 Bits during the airdrop season to qualify (previously earned Bits don’t count);
- Participating in Missions every day gives you extra Bits for maintaining an unbroken Streak (with leeway of up to 3 days);
- Another way to earn Bits is by inviting your friends to the platform. You get 1,200 Bits for every new active friend you refer (and 200 Bits for a friend your friend refers), while they earn 400 Bits.
You’ll need a Binance or Kraken Wallet for airdrop withdrawals.
Even though there’s currently no option to win MON tokens, this platform has a wide network of partnerships with other popular crypto projects, so it’s never too early to hope!

Binance Megadrop
Megadrop is Binance’s answer to the users’ increasing demand for easy and convenient access to free crypto airdrops. This platform showcases upcoming crypto projects and lets users get in on them early before they get officially listed on the exchange.
The participation criteria are pretty simple:
- Subscribe to the BNB Locked Products and earn points based on the amount of tokens you’ve subscribed to and the length of your subscription;
- Complete Web3 quests on the platform whose airdrop you want to claim (this usually includes tasks like staking or swapping);
- Earn rewards that will be distributed to your Spot Wallet once the airdrop closes (usually right before the token in question gets officially listed on the exchange).
Since this platform is part of the Binance Web3 ecosystem, it requires the Binance Web3 Wallet for participation. That’s where you’ll find in-depth descriptions of each airdrop and the list of tasks you’ll have to complete to claim them.
As of right now, there are no active Megadrop campaigns, but you’ve just missed the Solv Protocol airdrop: this Monad-based on-chain Bitcoin staking platform has distributed a whopping 588 million SOLV tokens to 1.3 million participants! If you’re patient, you might just find another Monad airdrop on Binance Megadrop soon enough.

The campaign features some of the more prominent Monad-based dApps like Plato, Nad.fun, Cycle Network, and Mu Digital. You can take part in as many airdrops as you want while on your Monad airdrop farming streak, as long as you complete their tasks. Most of them only require you to sign up on the platform and follow their social media accounts. Rewards include testnet MON tokens, points multipliers, and Bybit Community Badges.

How to Recognize Legitimate Crypto Airdrops?
As exciting and profitable as it may be, the crypto airdrop scene is fraught with scams and low-quality projects exploiting this popular marketing strategy as a last-ditch attempt to make a dent in the volatile crypto market. This Monad airdrop guide wouldn’t be complete without addressing these pitfalls.
To begin with, here’s some advice on how to get Monad airdrops that are actually worth it:
- Purpose & Applications. A crypto project with ambiguous or redundant goals won’t get too far in the current climate. Pick a platform that has clear and tangible use cases and offers innovative solutions to existing problems.
- Robust Technology. A blockchain project is only as good as the infrastructure behind it. Prioritize projects built on popular and reliable chains like Ethereum or BSC, or new blockchains that offer legitimate technological advantages.
- Healthy Community. Look for projects that have a transparent and actively engaged team and an organic, thriving community. Bonus points if the developers have laid out a detailed and realistic roadmap for future development.
- Investors & Partnerships. Platforms with a solid financial backing behind them, as well as partnerships with other crypto projects, are more likely to make it in the long run. This is also a solid indicator of their trustworthiness.
- Strict Airdrop Guidelines. See if the airdrop in question has a reasonable reward system and measures against common airdrop issues like sybil attacks and pump-and-dump schemes[1].
That’s about it! While airdrop hunting is never a 100% safe or reliable way to earn crypto, as long as you find the right projects and practice some common-sense safety precautions (such as tracing them down to the official source and not revealing any sensitive information like your recovery phrase or private key), things should go swimmingly.

Monad Blockchain & Ecosystem: A Brief Overview
Now that you’re familiar with all the ways how to join Monad airdrops on various platforms, you’re probably curious to learn more about our project in question!
In a nutshell, Monad is a Layer-1 blockchain designed from the ground up to be fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) while bringing a whole array of technological advantages to the table and solving quite a few conundrums that users of its famous parent network have to deal with.
Monad’s distinguishing feature is its parallel execution mechanism that allows the chain to execute new transactions before the previous ones are completed. This results in massive speed improvements: with its 10,000 TPS transaction speed, Monad is about 1,000 times faster than Ethereum, which supports an average of only 15 TPS (which has led to the accumulation of an average of 138,000 pending transactions[2] at any given time).
Aside from that, Monad comes with a few other benefits:
- 1s Single-Slot Finality. Reduces the time users must wait for assurance that their transactions are legitimate and irreversible;
- Sub-Cent Gas Fees. Cheap transactions increase scalability and mass adoption;
- SSD Storage for the Database. Reduces RAM requirements and the cost of running a node;
- Asynchronous Execution. Execution is decoupled from consensus, allowing a single-shard blockchain to scale to millions of users.
Monad’s EVM compatibility means that the network supports all existing Ethereum smart contracts and applications without any need for modification, which makes it very developer-friendly and approachable to a lot of crypto users, as well.
Even though the blockchain was founded in 2022, its testnet phase didn’t go live until February 19, 2025. Just a few months later, it already had over 170 million total accounts (out of which 148 million were active). There’s still no announcement of the mainnet release.
Conclusions
The process of how to farm Monad airdrop starts with getting to know the Monad ecosystem as a whole and exploring the opportunities it has to offer. In this Monad airdrop guide, I’ve done my best to gather all the up-to-date info in one place so that you can skip straight to the fun bits!
Let’s have a little recap: Monad is an EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain that’s currently undergoing a testnet phase, which lets users try out its growing collection of dApps and partner projects in exchange for collecting potential airdrops in the near future. You can sign up for the testnet, receive free MON tokens from the faucet, and be one of the first to demo the ecosystem.
If you prefer an all-in-one approach instead, try some of the airdrop campaigns offered by top-rated crypto platforms, such as the BitDegree Airdrop Season 7 with its $30,000 prize pool.
