Top cryptocurrency exchange Binance is allegedly being eyed by an elite football club FC Barcelona to become the main sponsor.
Binance has been expanding its reach all across the world, with more success than failure. In fact, CZ’s crypto exchange even set its foot in sports. Just a week ago, Binance managed to get a sponsorship deal with Africa’s football championship league AFCON 2021.
It seems that Binance got noticed by some of the bigger dogs in the football world, with reports by a trusted Spanish football reporter Adrian Sanchez that Binance and another "important cryptocurrency company" are being considered as main sponsors by FC Barcelona. The deal was said to be worth $80M.

Interestingly enough, according to the article published by Spanish sports newspaper MundoDeportivo in late December 2021, the other rumored cryptocurrency company might be FTX, which had earlier ventures into sports with various sponsorship deals.
With that being said, Binance has previously approached Barca’s players with ad campaigns including Andrés Iniesta and Luis However, their promotions of the cryptocurrency exchange weren’t taken lightly by Spanish regulators.
