What’s your mentorship style? Does Obi-Wan Kenobi’s empathy resonate with you? Is Dumbledore’s grandeur and wisdom the ideal you aspire to reach? Better yet - maybe you’re like the Genie from Aladdin, combining sass with advice?

Whatever it may be - we want to hear about it! BitDegree Academy is currently on a quest to gather a diverse mentor community of experienced and passionate Web Developers. Change someone’s world - help them take the first steps into their IT careers. Who knows, maybe you’ll learn something new, as well? 

Our goal is to create the most diverse Mentor Network in the world. Women, minorities, and individuals from other underrepresented backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide a guiding light and support through 1-on-1 mentorship sessions with BitDegree Academy students
• Participate in our Global Mentorship Network
• Take part in our Networking and Community-building activities
• Have the possibility to host webinars, provide case studies, etc.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• At least 3 years of experience working with Web Development
• An enthusiastic and supportive attitude!
• Flexibility and open-mindedness
• Good verbal and written English skills
• Hunger to learn new things & passion to grow
• Creativity and a passion for making education accessible
• Nice to have: prior experience in teaching
