What is Validity (VAL)?
Validity is a blockchain service provider using a modified form of Proof-Of-Stake with an accompanying utility token (the VAL crypto) to generate services that promote safety, productivity and increased transparency. Their goal is to create a set of decentralized services that will enable trust and security on the Internet, unblocking innovation in today's intricate world.
The platform was founded by Justin J. Justin, the founder of SmartChain Software Solutions, LLC., who has a background in software development with expertise in C#, C++ and VBA. He started GPU mining at the end of 2013 and soon after was involved with developing and supporting multiple tokens. As senior SmartChain Developer for his company, he is currently focusing on building 2nd layer solutions on Validity's blockchain technology.
The VAL coin is used for governance of the platform, as a means of payment for its services and for staking. The staking option provides users with a passive way of making profits by locking up their VAL token for a period of time.
