What is Inter Milan Fan Token (INTER)?
The Inter Milan Fan Token (INTER) is a digital currency issued by the Italian professional football club, Football Club Internazionale Milano (simply Inter Milan). INTER token allows Inter Milan fans to be more than just fans, and have a tokenized share of influence on the club's decisions. The token is issued through the consumer-facing platform, Socios.com, which is a sports fan engagement platform developed by Chiliz. It provides fans of various sports clubs, including Inter Milan, with fan tokens.

In essence, INTER acts as a digital representation of the membership in the Inter Milan football club. It gives fans the power to be part of the club's decision-making team, access VIP experiences, and earn official products among other benefits. Unlike conventional fan tickets, INTER token never expires. Therefore, users continue to enjoy the privileges that come with holding the token without any weekly, quarterly, or even annual renewal fees.
Use Cases of INTER Tokens
As it was mentioned before, INTER holders get the chance to vote on various decisions. This includes voting on the club's goal celebration song or deciding on how their bus should look like. Moreover, the token also allows fans to decide on the message that is embroidered on the captain's armband. Besides, fans can even put up inspirational messages in private places such as the dressing room to motivate the team or select the starting IX team for friendly matches.
Apart from that, the Inter Milan Fan Token holders also have VIP access to all home league, cup, and European matches. Other privileges INTER fan token holders enjoy are the chance to watch a match with their favorite club legend, a chance to travel with the team to any away match, or the chance to participate in quizzes, games, and club decisions, through Socios.com, and win Fan Rewards.
Who Launched Inter Milan Fan Token?
As mentioned before, Inter Milan Fan Token is issued by Inter Milan in collaboration with Socios.com. The token was launched in a Fan Token Offering (FTO) on September 10, 2021. This was the first time fans got the chance to purchase tokens at a fixed INTER price of €2.

Tokenomics of Inter Milan Fan Tokens
A total of 1 million INTER tokens were offered for purchase during the FTO. Since then, more tokens have entered circulation to meet the increasing demand of fans. However, Socios.com deploys a deflationary mechanism to prevent inflation that can harm the Inter Milan Fan Token price.
