What is the Metaverse Education Alliance?
It is estimated that 70 to 150 million Web3 talents will be needed by 2030. To transition tech minds from Web2 into Web3, the most important tool required today is education. And education requires educators: By 2030, around 7 million teachers will be required in the Web3 space. Federating initiatives such as MEA will serve as catalyzers in projects of mass adoption of Web3 by the general public.
MEA was announced in November 2022 by the CEO of Learnoverse, Danielius Stasiulis, at the Web3 and Metaverse Education Forum, during the MetaExpo in Singapore. MEA is a coalition of EdTech industry leaders, educators and stakeholders aimed at cultivating Web3 talents and teachers.
Can I become a member of MEA?
We want to make sure that anybody willing to help the cause of spreading Web3 education has a place in Metaverse Education Alliance. You are welcome to join us if you are:

- EdTechs utilizing Web3 (Ed3)
- Educators focused on Web3 and Metaverse
- Web3 and Metaverse companies willing to contribute expertise and content for public education initiatives as well as to employ the
