What is LooksRare?
The LooksRare token or LOOKS is the native token of the LooksRare platform. The latter is a community-driven NFT marketplace.
LOOKS mainly serves as an incentive for participating within the LooksRare platform.
It can be obtained by listing and trading NFTs on the LooksRare marketplace as well as
via major exchanges. Additionally, users who stake their LOOKS tokens earn trading fees in the form of WETH and a share of LooksRare coins.
There is a total supply of 1,000,000,000 LooksRare tokens. Given its deflationary token supply, it's possible LOOKS price will increase as there are fewer tokens to go around.
LOOKS has been allocated as follows:
- 44.1% - Volume Rewards;
- 18.9% - Staking Rewards;
- 12% - Airdrop;
- 10% - Treasury;
- 10% - Founding Team;
- 3.3% - Strategic Sale;
- 1.7% - Liquidity Management.
