LQ coin is the native governance token of Liqwid Protocol, a decentralized interest rate protocol built on Cardano’s Plutus smart contract platform. Liqwid is a blockchain-based lending and borrowing project.
The Liqwid Finance crypto project was founded by Dewayne Cameron, Joshua Akpan, and Tashoma Vilini.
LQ tokens are mainly used to propose upgrades, vote, and implement changes to the Liqwid Protocol. They can also be used to get staking rewards and to earn portions of protocol revenue.
