What is Everest (ID)?
Everest protocol is a decentralized, public blockchain protocol for creating and verifying identities and wallets, ranging from proving uniqueness to allowing for additional storage, and organizational identities and wallets. The protocol claims to be the world’s only device-free, global digital transaction protocol with in-built identity – using digital identities on the blockchain, electronic wallets, document management and biometrics. Its goal is to bring ID tokens to governments, banks, exchanges, hospitals, NGOs and more.
This project was co-founded by Bob Reid and Bradley Witteman. Bob, the CEO of Everest, was also the CEO of the JF Maddox Foundation for 25 years. Bradley, the CPO of Everest, has almost 20 years of product management experience across various industries.
ID crypto is used for storing money, and documents, and accessing financial services like payments, remittances, buying/selling/trading digital assets, savings, and lending. ID coins catalyze an expanding ecosystem of decentralized applications. It includes healthcare, insurance, supply chain, and voting.
