What Is DeRace (DERC)?

DeRace combines video gaming with horse racing allowing users to own horses and race with them instead of simply biding on them. Players own horses in the form of NFTs and they are able to breed them in order to create new horses that have unique qualities. Besides, due to the govern-to-earn model offered by the game, players can even create their own hippodromes. This feature allows them to create and manage their own races and earn rewards for that.

Who Founded DeRace?

The DeRace crypto project was founded by Adomas Juodišius and Adelaida Sinkevič.

Adomas Juodišius is the CEO of DeRace. Juodišius is an expert in project development with a background in SAAS project development. Besides, he has experience in cybersecurity and online gambling. Prior to founding DeRace, he also co-founded Media Bubbles.

Adelaida Sinkevič is the CMO of DeRace. She has a lot of experience in digital marketing, which includes creating market entry strategies and working with global influencers. Besides, together with Juodišius, she also co-founded Media Bubbles.

The DeRace crypto project is also advised by various high-profile personas, including Hassan Sheikh (co-founder of DAO maker), Michael Kam (co-founder of Double Peak), Alex Becker (CEO of Hyros), and others.

The Purpose of DERC Tokens

DeRace coins are based on the ERC-20 token standard and stored on the Ethereum blockchain. Thus, the project is secured by the same consensus that Ethereum employs.

All in-game transactions are paid using DERC tokens. This includes paying an entry fee, paying for horse breeding, purchasing a hippodrome, and so on. Besides that, DERC tokens can be staked in order to provide liquidity. DERC token stakers receive various rewards, including premium NFTs, early access to new features, and so on.

DERC Tokenomics

DeRace tokens have no max supply set, which means that the project is able to generate as many tokens as needed. However, the initial supply of DERC is 120 million.

In 2021, an initial dex offering (IDO) was held, during which 6% of the total DERC supply was sold. Though before the IDO, there was also a private token sale held. During the sale, the DERC price was $0.05. At that time, 28% of the total supply was sold to early investors.

The remaining supply was distributed between the team and advisors, as well as set aside for marketing purposes, liquidity incentives, and the development of the DeRace crypto project.
