What is BioPassport Token (BIOT)?
The BIOT token is a native utility token of the Bio Passport ecosystem. BioPassport is a platform that is committed to helping make healthcare a personal component of our daily lives. It starts with a "health passport" platform that houses a patient's Decentralized Personal Health Record (DPHR) built around a Decentralized Identity (DID). BIOT crypto also has a Token Compensation System that rewards a user with tokens when using services within the platform.
The project was co-founded by Woongsik Ahn and had Young-il Nam as the Vice President. Other people involved in this project are Hyun-il Choi, Director of the R&D Center and Dong-Hae Seo, CTO.
Bio Passport, as a Telehealth platform, has been seen to safely manage and remotely monitor a user's personal health in the post-COVID-19 era. The project secures the management of users' personal medical records using Decentralized Identity technology implementation. BIOT coins aid safe traveling with a health passport and ease the submission of personal medical data to airports, hotels and travel agencies.
