What is ACENT (ACE)?

ACE is the native token of ACENT, which is a Layer 1 blockchain dedicated to the meta-application development on the metaweb. Metaweb is a gamified web based on ACENT. It was developed using Unreal Engine. The metaweb employs the live-to-earn (L2E) model and, thus, allows users to earn passive income by using the gaming and social media services provided in the metaweb.

Applications that operate inside of a meta-space service platform are known as meta-apps. The main goal of these initiatives is to get people involved in different network activities. These applications can be created, published, and incubated with high-end tools like Unity or Unreal game engines without having to write a single line of code by using the Acent crypto engine API service.

Additionally, the platform offers reasonable compensation to network supporters and ensures that decentralized governance is carried out in an open and accountable manner.

The ACENT ecosystem consists of such products as Acent Web 3.0 Osiris Browser, Metawallet, Liberty Meta Search Engine, DAPPX, and Your Eath Metaverse.

Users can also convert BTC, ETH, or tokens as Acent-wrapped versions of their preferred cryptocurrency thanks to the Acent blockchain's version of wrapping, dubbed "Ascending." For instance, ascended ETH would be turned into AETH.

Use Cases of ACE Tokens

ACE tokens have a variety of use cases within the ACENT ecosystem. Primarily, ACE serves as both a medium of exchange and the primary currency for all transactions involving ACENT products. Also, ACE token holders can stake their tokens to become a part of the ACENT PoS consensus mechanism. For doing that, they get rewarded with more ACE tokens, which also leads to another use case – rewarding network participants. Additionally, meta-app developers are able to integrate ACE as one of the payment options in their apps.

Who Founded ACENT?

ACENT, a blockchain startup headquartered in Singapore, was founded in 2018 by Sean Kim and Angella Kim. ACENT's founding team consists of members with many years of experience in the blockchain and related Internet industries. 

Sean Kim has over 9 years of experience in the IT sector. He is also the founder of DECENTERNET ASSOCIATION Hong Kong, the creator of ODIN Technology, and an early blockchain educator.

Angella Kim has over 6 years of experience with blockchain-based businesses. She is also an advisor of the Korea Blockchain Contents Association (KBCCA) and the Korea Mobile Game Association (KMGA). 

Another member of the leading team is Shin Daisuke. He is ACENT's CTO who has more than 16 years of product development experience, including areas of telecommunication as his main concentration.

Tokenomics of ACE
