According to a July 21 press release by OpenAI, Kyle said:
AI will be fundamental in driving the change we need to see across the country, whether that is in fixing the NHS, breaking down barriers to opportunity or driving economic growth.
He added that "this cannot be achieved without companies like OpenAI".
Additionally, Altman noted, "Britain has a strong legacy of scientific leadership and its Government was one of the first to recognize the potential of AI through its AI Opportunities Action Plan".
He added that the current focus is to turn early plans into real-world actions that benefit people and the economy.
