Donald Trump Jr. said the Trump Organization is not connected to the wallet and that he personally had no knowledge of it. He also noted that the family’s own crypto company, World Liberty Financial, plans to launch its own wallet soon.
Eric Trump stated that the wallet had not been approved and warned Magic Eden against using the Trump name without permission. He clarified that no one in their business had heard of the project before the announcement.
Even Barron Trump, who had not posted publicly on X, confirmed that the family was not involved in the wallet and distanced himself from the launch.
Neither Magic Eden nor the TRUMP token team has made any new statements. The crypto wallet’s website remains online.
It describes the product as the "Official TRUMP Wallet by President Trump" and says it is a result of a partnership between Magic Eden and GetTrumpMemes.com.
