After scanning the code, players will receive "a special message from a Saints legend, with limited edition branded cards that will be dotted around the city to collect."

In fact, Saints is a nickname given to the Southampton Football Club due to its history of being a church football team.

Later on, the second round will include a "fiendish blockchain-style puzzle" where players will need to find clues related to the changes of Southampton’s sports apparel, also known as player kits. Players will need to secure over 35k points in order to have a chance at participating in the final.

The third round will require players to navigate through Southampton’s social media accounts, and look for hidden Bitcoin images.

The Grand Final will feature the 10 chosen players who will be invited to the St. Mary’s Home Stadium of Southampton FC. During half-time of the match between Southampton and Crystal Palace, three participants from each round, and an extra player from any round, will participate in the finals of an undisclosed competition.

The lucky winner will be crowned the champ of the competition in front of a live crowd at the St Mary’s Stadium and will receive a Bitcoin, currently worth $35,573,41.
