According to an X user known as @ZenithTON, who works on NFTs at TON, Telegram first launched these digital items in January, with a collection called "Plush Pepe". Still, they noted in a post on X that Snoop Dogg’s release might help shift the conversation around NFTs.
Zenith stated that "this could be the start of a new NFT narrative", although they admitted that it "technically could not mean anything". They also noted that it is possible that other brands and Web3 projects could launch their own Telegram Gifts in the future.
