The blockchain gaming platform has signed a partnership deal with one of the largest burger chains in South Korea.
Based on the report by PlayDapp, Mom’s Touch will be working alongside the blockchain platform to drive engagement with the youth by creating NFTs and incorporating metaverse initiatives.
With the business agreement, PlayDapp will attempt to replicate the real-life business of the Mom’s Touch burger chain into the virtual world by creating various metaverse experiences, including NFTs, games, and even digital theme parks.

PlayDapp’s Head of Business Sang Chung spoke on the partnership with Mom’s touch, stating:
"We expect PlayDapp’s NFT technology to join ‘Mom’s Touch,’ which has the largest chain of stores in the domestic burger franchise market. We will also consider providing user-centered services and special benefits through a new business model that connects online and offline experiences."
Likewise, according to one of the officials at the Mom’s Touch fast food restaurant, the term "NFTs" has been floating around the food industry for some time now, and he sees that digital assets might be a great way to bring brand awareness and "increase customer loyalty" by implementing digital assets as rewards.
This has been PlayDapp’s second partnership with plans for the metaverse. About a week ago, the blockchain platform went into an agreement with Samsung C&T to recreate a virtual version of the Everland Theme Park.
