When creating an Instagram Story, tapping the paintbrush icon at the top opens the "Restyle" section. Users can write short instructions in a box. They can choose from "add", "remove", or "change" and describe what they would like to see.

In addition to free-form changes, the tool also offers built-in options. These include changing clothes in the image, such as adding sunglasses or a jacket.

There are also filters, such as watercolor effects, for images. For videos, options include adding visual effects like snow or flames.
