Google Launches Flow: All-in-One AI Video Studio for Creators

Google has introduced a new video creation tool called Flow, which combines its latest artificial intelligence (AI) models—Veo 3, Imagen 4, and Gemini—into one workspace.

Revealed during the Google I/O 2025 event, Flow helps users build short films by turning written ideas into moving images. The tool also lets people include their own video clips or reuse content generated earlier.

The tool builds on Google’s VideoFX project and is available in the US for users with AI Pro or AI Ultra subscriptions.

With the help of Veo 3, Flow can add voices, ambient noise, or even animal sounds directly into a video. It also includes better lip syncing for dialogue.

Imagen 4 supports Flow by producing images in up to 2K resolution. It is faster than the previous version, Imagen 3, and better at creating realistic surfaces like fabric, water, or fur. This helps videos look smoother and more natural, especially in detailed scenes.

Flow also includes tools that make editing easier. Users can change camera angles or movement with the Camera Control feature. The Scenebuilder lets them adjust or extend clips without making the cut look awkward.

There is also an Asset Manager to organize visuals and audio in one place. For inspiration or learning, users can browse Flow TV, which showcases videos made with the tool along with the prompts used to create them.

Google has worked with filmmakers like Dave Clark, Henry Daubrez, and Junie Lau to learn how Flow can support real production needs.
