Having graduated from El Salvador's unique Bitcoin diploma program, "Mi Primer Bitcoin" (My First Bitcoin), he has transitioned from earning a mere $6 a day in construction to becoming a Bitcoin educator for his former high school.

In a Twitter thread posted on July 8th, Moran shed light on his transformative journey, facilitated by the Bitcoin program endorsed by El Salvador's Ministry of Education. Before his Bitcoin education, Moran worked in the construction and tourism sectors.
Moran expressed his disillusionment with his previous work in his tweets:
Earning 6 dollars a day doing construction wasn’t feasible for me anymore, so I quit without knowing there was an opportunity ahead.
The turning point came when his school sought applications for the Bitcoin course. Moran seized the opportunity, enrolled, and soon excelled in his newfound field.
After finishing the course, Moran has taken the mantle of a Bitcoin educator in his hometown, teaching a Bitcoin diploma course to a group of eight senior professors from his former high school, Antonio J. Alfaro.
The “Mi Primer Bitcoin” program has received global recognition and support, with Bitcoin education proponents worldwide donating over 1 BTC to the cause. Generous contributions have flowed in from diverse regions like Poland and Canada, utilizing the Lightning Network to aid the expansion of El Salvador’s Bitcoin program.
In August 2022, El Salvador's Director of Education, Gilberto Motto, unveiled the government's focus on enlightening the public, particularly the youth, about Bitcoin.
If we could reach every 16-year-old or 17-year-old in the country, we will effectively teach the entire country in one year because that demographic is really strategic. They go home, and they’ll talk to their parents, their aunts, their uncles, their little brothers and sisters.
