Bitget, a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange established in 2018, unveils a $10 million commitment over five years to support its innovative corporate social responsibility program Blockchain4Youth.
The Blockchain4Youth project plans to offer blockchain courses and certifications through Bitget Academy and collaborate with universities globally for campus lectures.

Bitget also aspires to team up with leading blockchain firms to nurture inventive projects by young entrepreneurs and organize U30 hackathons to discover the most promising ones.
Launching this month, the initiative will kick off with a series of campus lectures on Web3 at universities in Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand. Bitget Academy courses are also expected to become available around the same time.
With a user base of about 8 million across more than 100 countries, Bitget welcomes partnerships with educators for this groundbreaking endeavor.
A recent Bitget survey revealed that 46% of millennials across major economies, including the United States, China, Japan, Germany, Nigeria, and Indonesia, own cryptocurrencies, compared to 25% of Gen X, 21% of Gen Z, and 8% of baby boomers.
Additionally, 27% of millennials and 36% of Gen Z respondents consider cryptocurrency regulation a crucial factor when voting for political candidates.
In a similar effort, Binance Charity pledged over 30,000 scholarships for 2023, with more than 82,000 applicants expressing interest in joining the next rollout.
At the end of April, the crypto derivatives exchange also secured registration as a service provider in Lithuania, which according to the company, will allow it to offer crypto-related services "in or from Lithuania."
