Short is a cryptocurrency trading strategy. When someone says they’re “going short,” it means that they will be betting against the cryptocurrency’s favor and expect the prices to decrease.
For instance, a trader borrows an asset in hopes that its price goes down. If everything plays out as the trader intended, they will purchase the asset at the new price only to return it to the lender. The remaining money is kept as profit.
