What is Dypius (DYP)?
Dypius (previously known as DeFi Yield Protocol) is a decentralized platform designed to provide a wide range of services to new and experienced users and investors on Web3. The platform provides services such as NFTs, yield farming, staking, Metaverse solutions, and more. The DYP token is the native utility token of the platform.
Dypius was created by Mihai Nicusor. He got into the crypto space in 2017, and in 2018 he started a company that provides maintenance and hosting for people that own crypto mining rigs. Then, Mihai got into DeFi in 2020, when he discovered Uniswap. He also founded DYP soon after. Besides, Mihai works as the CEO of the company.
The DYP coin powers the whole ecosystem. Users can use them to purchase NFTs, engage in yield farming, and stake them for rewards. Additionally, it serves as the governance token of the project. DYP crypto holders are able to vote in order to add more pools, burn tokens, or allocate DYP towards grants, strategic partnerships, governance initiatives, and other programs through the act of governance.
