Solana Co-Founder Raj Gokal Doxxed in Migos Instagram Account Hack

On May 27, the former rap group Migos' Instagram account was taken over and used to post images targeting Raj Gokal, a co-founder of Solana
At least seven posts appeared on the account, all of which were later removed. Two of them showed a man, believed to be Gokal, holding up his passport and driver’s license.

Another image appeared to show a woman, described in the caption as Gokal’s wife, holding a driver’s license. Two more photos seemed to include private contact details like email addresses and phone numbers.
The type of images shared, where a person holds their ID in front of a camera, are usually seen during identity checks on crypto platforms.
On May 20, Gokal posted on X that someone had been trying to access his email and social media accounts. He told his followers to be cautious if they saw anything strange from his profiles.
Following the incident, Blockchain researcher ZachXBT shared on X, "Think Raj’s personal accounts got social engineered and they tried to extort him for funds with the PII obtained. Guess he didn’t pay, so they started trolling and posted it after they compromised Migos' Instagram account today".
