PlayDapp and Nettention to Develop a P2P Blockchain Gaming Network
The two platforms will combine their blockchain development tools to build a "blockchain-enabled P2P server network."
Based on the official report, PlayDapp will work alongside Nettention to develop a blockchain engine on a peer-to-peer (P2P) network. With the collaborative efforts of PlayDapp and Nettention, the new initiative aims to create a "full-scale, user-centered, and decentralized game service."
PlayDapp will provide its "blockchain consensus algorithm" which will be installed on Nettention’s own peer-to-peer network engine ProudNet. In fact, the P2P network is already being used in several multiplayer games like Vindictus, MARVEL Future Fight, Monster Taming, and Seven Knights.

Head of Business at PlayDapp Sang Chung spoke on the upcoming plans for the development of the blockchain peer-to-peer network, stating:
"We think ‘P2P servers’ are more in line with the core values of blockchain than the centralized ‘client server’ model. We will do our best to record game usage on the blockchain to provide rewards to participants in a practical approach and to fulfill long-term game services."
Over the course of the partnership, the two companies will attempt to bring in several gaming titles that would be interested in implementing blockchain technologies and "strengthen the blockchain game ecosystem."
