MoonX Rolled Out as BYDFi’s Solution to Simplify DEX Access for CEX Users

BYDFi $145.47M is a centralized exchange that’s been growing steadily since 2020. It serves over a million users across more than 190 countries, offering spot, futures, and copy trading, among other features.

In May 2025, it introduced something new: MoonX, an on-chain wallet-free meme coin trading tool built to bring the flexibility of DEXs into the familiar experience of a CEX.

What is MoonX?

MoonX lets users access thousands of tokens aggregating liquidity from DEXs like Raydium $87.85M and PancakeSwap $7.4B directly through the BYDFi interface. You don’t need to install wallets or switch networks. It looks and feels like a normal trading experience, but under the hood, it executes transactions on-chain.

That means you can buy low-cap tokens or meme coins that usually only exist on DEXs, without jumping through the usual hoops. No MetaMask, no slippage headaches, no bridging from one chain to another. It’s all done from your BYDFi account.

It gives users access to over 500,000 tokens on Solana and BNB Chain (with more chains coming). MoonX routes orders to multiple DEXs to get the best prices and has the same kind of instant execution that centralized exchanges offer.

Tools Built for Active Traders

MoonX includes features that make it useful for fast-paced trading:

• Limit and market orders;
• Take-profit and stop-loss settings;
• A shortcut called “Sell at Double”, which automatically secures profits when a token doubles in value;
• Real-time data on wallet activity, trends, and token health.

You can also copy the trades of successful wallets, which makes it easier to follow market trends or mirror experienced traders without having to dig through on-chain analytics yourself.

Security Setup

Security is one of the big concerns when trading outside traditional platforms. MoonX uses a system built with Safeheron, combining multi-party computation (MPC) with trusted execution environments (TEE). This keeps your assets safe without needing to manage private keys manually.

It also uses GoPlus to scan tokens and warn users about potential risks. So even though you’re trading on-chain, the process is managed and protected more like a traditional platform, reducing a lot of the usual stress.

The Bigger Picture

MoonX reflects a shift in how exchanges are evolving. It’s no longer just about being centralized or decentralized. Users want both flexibility and safety.

BYDFi’s co-founder called MoonX "a scalable Web3 onboarding system," and that’s probably the best way to describe it. You get the open access of DeFi but with the structure and protection of a platform you’re already using.
