People suffering from crypto trading addiction can now enter a four-week rehabilitation program for around $75,000.
The Balance, a Switzerland-founded wellness centre located on the Spanish island of Mallorca, started treating patients suffering from crypto trading addiction.
According to the BBC news report shared on February 5th, the initiative to start offering treatments for crypto trading addiction came after one individual contacted the clinic asking for help in weaning off of crypto trading.

Before entering the rehabilitation centre, the person would reportedly wake up in the middle of the night to “monitor prices and his portfolio balance” and spend up to $200,000 every week on cryptocurrency trades. The person noted:
I'd break into a sweat before going on long-haul flights, as I would not be able to access the internet.
Based on experts, these are common symptoms for crypto addicts. In particular, experts note that people suffering from crypto addictions usually show signs of “lying, stealing, debt; difficulties relaxing or sleeping; monitoring crypto prices at all hours; and trading at the expense of relationships, career and education opportunities.”
The luxury rehabilitation centre in Spain offers a four-week program with therapy courses, yoga, massages, and bike rides. People suffering from crypto trading addiction are accommodated in private villas and attended by butlers and chefs. All for around $75,000.
There are several addiction rehabilitation centres around the world focusing on treating crypto traders.
One of them is based in Scotland, called “Castle Craig Hospital.” The centre reportedly started treating high-adrenaline crypto traders in 2018. The centre’s representatives revealed that in almost five years, over 100 people asked for help as they experienced “dangerous” cryptocurrency problems.
In Thailand, a wellness centre, Castle Craig Hospital, is also treating crypto addiction. The Castle Craig Hospital reportedly uses Psychodynamic Theory (PT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help crypto traders to overcome their addiction.
