A short video of Ethereum ETH $3,018.47 co-founder Vitalik Buterin kneeling in front of a robot and making a “meow” sound has drawn a lot of attention from the crypto community on X.

In the clip, Buterin crouches down, gestures toward a four-legged robot, makes the sound, and pats it on the head.

Phil Fogel, co-founder of Cork Protocol, posted the clip and admitted that a large part of his career and finances depend on Buterin, though he added that the moment made him feel optimistic.

Crypto influencer Wendy O shared the video on X, writing, "The future of Ethereum is in this man’s hands... Meow".

An X user with over 500,000 followers also posted the clip and said, "Pray for our ETH bags". Another X user wrote, "Sure, the man is free to do whatever he wants, why should we care, why should we care, however, the fact that a vast majority of my investment relies on this guy is making me a bit stressed".
