To make the session feel more balanced, Schwartz turned to a backup list of questions that had been prepared in advance in case something went wrong. He used these to give the other band members something to respond to. As they spoke, he combined bits of what he heard with replies provided by the band’s manager.
Schwartz noted:
I felt really bad about the whole thing. It wasn't the authentic interaction with celebrities that I wanted it to be and that I tried to make it. To me personally, it was a failure, but to everyone else it was a success.
He also said he edited Ozzy’s answers. Due to the poor phone connection, he could only clearly hear certain words. He said, "Ozzy's answer featured the C-word a lot. The bad C-word. The one that Americans really don't like to say".
Schwartz said he chose to leave that word out each time it came up.
