On March 14, BNB Chain revealed its groundbreaking rollup-as-a-service (RaaS) solution, designed to empower projects with the necessary technological framework to launch Layer-2 networks on the blockchain.

This enhancement is set to expand the BNB Chain ecosystem, offering a robust platform for a broad spectrum of project verticals, notably in blockchain gaming and decentralized finance (DeFi).

Further emphasizing the inclusivity and accessibility of this service, BNB Chain is providing comprehensive rollup management support and an innovative "no-code" deployment option. This initiative caters to projects lacking in coding expertise, democratizing access to blockchain development.

The BNB Chain team has underscored that the Layer-2 networks facilitated by the RaaS service will leverage the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) as their foundation, highlighting BSC's pivotal role as the core Layer-1 blockchain and governance chain within the ecosystem.

As BNB Chain continues to innovate and support the development of the blockchain space, its latest service is poised to open new avenues for projects and developers looking to harness the full potential of decentralized technologies.

BNB Chain has been actively developing its Layer-2 network capabilities since 2023, when it launched the opBNB scaling solution on a testnet, followed by its mainnet deployment. This platform, compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, showcased impressive performance during its testnet phase, handling over 35 million transactions and supporting 150 dApps.
