Backing this effort is Bitget’s $10 million Blockchain4Her fund, which focuses on improving digital literacy for women and promoting financial independence. The fund provides mentorship, resources, and funding to support learning paths tailored to girls and young women.
As part of the collaboration, Bitget will help design UNICEF’s first blockchain-focused training module. This module will be offered both online and in person, using video game development as a simple way to explain blockchain basics. The idea is to teach by doing, using a method that many people are already familiar with.
Bitget Academy, the exchange’s educational branch, will lead the curriculum development and work closely with blockchain developers and Web3 experts.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen explained that the goal is to bring science and technology education to more girls. She said the team is helping UNICEF create a model that can be used globally, so blockchain learning becomes more accessible and consistent.
