Bitcoin for Beginners: All in One
Bitcoin! Bitcoin is one of the most famous words in the past 10 years.
What is bitcoin? Who created bitcoin? Is Bitcoin real? Is Bitcoin profitable? Can Bitcoin deliver on its promises? Will Bitcoin crash? Does Bitcoin have value? Is Ethereum better than Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin replace US Dollars? What are the properties of this Bitcoin? What is Bitcoin Mining? How can someone use Technical Indicators to analyze Bitcoin? Should I buy Bitcoin instead of shares? Where do I buy Bitcoin? Can Bitcoin be hacked? How is Bitcoin related to altcoins? What are the advantages and disadvantages of using Bitcoin for payment? Is the story that someone paid 10,000BTC to buy pizzas true? What is the best Bitcoin wallet out there? Can you show me how to buy Bitcoin on Binance? Will the US Government ban Bitcoin? Can Central bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) replace Bitcoin? Is Bitcoin a fraud? These are some of the few questions that people ask and debate when they hear the word, Bitcoin.
Therefore, in this class, Bitcoin for Beginners, we examined the A-Z of Bitcoin to properly understand what it is and where it is going. This implies that we defined Bitcoin and explained its properties, history, structure, wallets, merits, and demerits. We carefully examined cryptocurrencies and the mechanism that powers them, the blockchain. We demonstrated how the blockchain is secured to ensure that transactions are not altered or manipulated. Also, we emphasized the importance of mining as Bitcoin's consensus algorithm to secure the blockchain network and keep the blockchain operations decentralized.
What is the need to acquire knowledge that you cannot benefit from? That leads us to Binance to invest in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Before then, we explored the concept of investing in cryptocurrencies and examined the best ways to buy Bitcoin including Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA), Support and Resistance. Also, we simplified the concept of wallets, that they are used to store Bitcoin addresses instead of Bitcoins. We stated that for better and optimal security, we should go for a hard wallet instead of software wallets, in the form of phone apps and chrome extensions, which are connected to the internet.
We concluded the class, Bitcoin for Beginners, by comparing Bitcoin with shares, ETFs, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Metaverse, Central bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), Altcoins, Gold, Bitcoin Cash, just to mention a few. We discovered that Bitcoins are fungible which make them suitable as a medium of exchange instead of crypto apes that are non-fungible. Whether Bitcoin will eventually replace the US Dollars as the acceptable, global means of payment will be decided over time, but what we know is that Bitcoin is the standard cryptocurrency that altcoins are compared with.
