In this course you will learn the basics of crypto mining before finally mining your first cryptocurrency from your phone in just 10 minutes and completely free.
We will first look at what mining is by looking at the history of Bitcoin and how it uses PoW or Proof of work to reach consensus on its network and reward miners for maintaining its data entries. We will then dive deeper into Proof of Work and look at the common hardware devices which are used to mine crypto.
Next we will look at Proof of Stake and specifically we will look at Ethereum's merge of summer 2022 and how it has impacted the crypto mining industry.
Finally we will take a look at Proof of Partcipation before taking a practical lesson on the Pi Network where we will learn how to start mining crypto with your phone in just 10 minutes. Are you ready? Let's get started.
