This course teaches you how you Image Processing with Python. The content makes this easy: you don't have to be an expert in Python, Matrix algebra etc: instead you can easily load images, transform images, apply image effects and more just by writing Python code.
It start by the basics. Setting up the development environment (PyCharm) for Image Processing with PIL. The first lecture shows you how to load an image by ony using Python code.
After taking this course, you can resize or crop images by with Python. This can be done either on a single image or in batch (saving you a lot of time on image editing)
You will learn now only how to use it with Python, but also how Image Effects work underneath. After taking this course you can apply all kinds of image effects to your images by just Python code. Including sharpen, blur, guassian blur, emboss and all the other famous effects you might see in Photoshop or Gimp.
In this course you learn how to use the Python Image Library: Python Imaging Library is a free and open-source additional library for the Python programming language that adds support for opening, manipulating, and saving many different image file formats. It is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux
Finally it goes into drawing shapes and pixels. You can either draw on top of an existing images or create a new image and draw on that. All kinds of shapes can be added to the image. You can save your image using Python code as well.
