To set this up, you will have the same 3 options you had in the previous section, simply provide examples of anything written by your brand.

For optimal results, it’s highly recommended that you complete both sections. Once you’ve chosen and provided the necessary information, Jasper will analyze it and adapt its writing style accordingly.

Obviously, this wouldn’t be a great Jasper AI tutorial if I didn’t show you how to generate both of these content types. That being said, let me start by providing you with a step-by-step guide on how to create a document:

Step 1: From the dashboard, select “New document”.

Step 2: Choose a template that suits your needs. For example, if you’re writing a blog post, you might choose the “Blog Post” option.

Step 3: Each template will ask for different information to guide the AI in writing your content. Fill them in as thoroughly as possible, which will let Jasper generate better content.

Step 4: Once you’ve filled in the necessary details, click “Generate” to print out your text.

Step 5: After having Jasper write your text, you can then edit and refine the output content as needed to fit your requirements.

Furthermore, before going any further, I have to mention that the “Campaign” feature is not included in the “Creator” plan, and in order to get this functionality, a higher-tier subscription is required. That being said, here are the steps showing how to use Jasper AI to generate your campaign:

Step 1: From the dashboard, select “New campaign”.

Step 2: Proceed to write the name of your campaign, select which voice to use and add knowledge for better results.

Step 3: Choose a template that suits your needs. There will be options like TikTok scripts and case studies - you can select as many as you need.

Step 4: Click “Generate” to create the content for your campaign.

Step 5: After Jasper generates the content, you can proceed to review and edit the written text as needed.

You can think of him as your personal AI copilot who will help you with everything from serving as your brand’s knowledge base to full campaign creation and, of course, assisting you with content generation.

That said, it is crucial to note that it is not designed to be used as a research engine. Hence, if you are looking something up, the response should be fact-checked as with any other artificial intelligence platform. Information queries are not the purpose of this application - communicating your writing idea through text is.

Now that we’ve cleared up the disclaimers, let’s continue with the Jasper AI tutorial on using its chatbot.

You can find this feature above the brand’s voice section, simply pressing on it will instantly open up the chat window. Additionally, this option is also available to be opened on the same page while editing your already written content, giving you the ability to get the copilot’s opinion without having to switch between tabs or screens.

If you are wondering if this feature only comes with the most expensive plan, it does not. Jasper AI chatbot comes with every plan and does not have a message cap limit like ChatGPT-4.

Also, before wrapping up the tutorial on how to use the feature, let me mention that it has an “Auto Save” functionality, so you don’t have to worry about losing your conversations, as this application will save all of your content automatically for you.

So, if you were halfway through your project and remembered that some valuable information was written in previous chats, you can easily access it. Another useful feature that this tool has is the ability to open Jasper's chat in a Word document. Here, you can continue polishing your text with the use of this application's browser extension, which we will cover a bit later on.

Learning How to Generate Art with Jasper AI

Continuing with the question of what is Jasper good for, let me tell you about its artwork-generating feature. It reads the prompt that you write and provides you with 4 different versions of the picture, letting you choose which one you like the most.

To make this Jasper AI tutorial even more useful, there are a few tips to get a better result when making artwork.

Attempt to frame the prompt as follows: subject + description + style. To give you an example, it should look somewhat like this: “Fluffy kitten, wearing a futuristic suit, photorealistic digital illustration”. Below you can find an image I generated using this exact prompt.

Additionally, note that the more descriptive words you use, the more details Jasper AI will have to work with, generating a better image.

Additionally, it offers two different ways for you to create the artwork:

• Free form: Choosing this option will allow you to type out the whole prompt yourself without choosing any of the templates. You can also upload an image that will be used as a reference. Furthermore, there will be additional settings, such as mood, medium, style, keywords, and language.
• Templates: This option lets you choose from 10 different templates, like ink art, news graphics, realistic animals or even storybook illustrations. After choosing one of them, it will ask you to provide additional description about the image you want generated, more details mean better illustrations.

That being said, a few things need to be mentioned before I finish explaining how to use Jasper AI to generate artwork.

Unfortunately, since Jasper has not been trained with actual text inside images but rather shapes and styles, it will struggle to create artwork with any text inside it. However, don't take me wrong by thinking the software is incapable of such a feat.

When I tested Jasper's art generator, I wrote a prompt asking the application to output an image of a kitten holding a sign with the word "water" on it and out of 4 different results, 1 definitely met the requirements, which is naturally better than none. The last thing to note is that this feature has a content filter and will not generate any pictures with hateful or harmful descriptions.
