In this course, I’ll share 10 things that I wish I had known before I started freelancing. Freelancing gives you a lot of freedom in many ways, not only to travel or change your workspace anytime you want. At the same time, it’s a multidisciplinary task where you need to know a bit about accounting, a bit about planning, and then a bit about marketing or how the sales work (or don’t work). In other words, there are quite many things that you need to know, and the best way of learning those things is to get advice from someone who’s already gone down this way.
I don’t know much about you, but I used to be the guy who went down the trial and error way, learning my lessons the hard way. Luckily, my experiences didn’t discourage me from such a lifestyle, and it’s been more than 7 years since my decision to become a freelancer. Now, if I had to do it all over again, I’d search for advice on how to become a freelancer. Remember Brian Tracy? His idea that 1 minute of planning is worth 10 minutes in execution can be adapted here, too. You can compare freelancing to running a small business. I can still remember how I had no clue what to do or any knowledge about freelance business when I started. In this course, I’ll share a list of 10 tips on how to start freelancing that I trust will help you be much more confident at the beginning of your freelance career. I had to suffer my mistakes, so I’ll be happy if I help you avoid at least some of them. I’ve created this course to help you set up an action plan so that you know quite exactly what you need to do.
